2. USERS

The access and/or use of this EDEM website implies the condition of ‘USER’, who accepts, from this access and/or use, the General Conditions of Use reflected here.

3. USE OF WEBSITE

The website grants access to a wide range of information, services, programmes, or data (henceforth, “the contents”) on the Internet belonging to EDEM or its licensors to which the USER may have access.

The USER assumes responsibility for the use of the website. This responsibility extends to registration which may be required to access certain services or content.  The USER will be responsible for providing accurate and legal information.

After registration, the USER may be provided with a password which they will be responsible for, promising to make careful and confidential use of it. The USER commits to using the contents and services appropriately, (including chat services, discussion forums or news groups) that EDEM offers through its website in an informative but not restrictive manner. And not to use them for (i) committing illicit or illegal acts or for engaging in activities contrary to good faith and public order; (ii) spreading contents or propaganda of a racist, xenophobic or pornographic nature, in defence of terrorism or attacks against human rights; (iii) causing damage to the physical and logical systems of EDEM, its suppliers or third parties, introducing or spreading computer viruses in the network or any other physical or logical systems that are likely to cause the aforementioned damage; (iv) trying to access and use the e-mail accounts of other users and change or tamper with their messages.

EDEM reserves the right to remove all comments and contributions that violate the respect and/or dignity of a person, are discriminatory, xenophobic, racist, pornographic, considered harmful to children, public order or security, or that, in our opinion, are not suitable for publication. In addition, EDEM is not liable for any opinion expressed by users through forums, chats, or other participatory tools.

The regulation of the use of cookies on this current website is set out in the Cookie Policy and forms an integral part of this current Legal Notice as a whole.

5. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

EDEM, either directly or as an assignee, is the owner of all the intellectual and industrial property rights of its website, as well as the elements contained in it, (such as images, sound, audio, video, software or texts; brands or logos, colour combinations, structure and design, selection of materials used, computer programs necessary for its operation, access and use, etc.), belonging to EDEM or its licensors.

By virtue of the provisions of Articles 8 and 32.1, second paragraph, of the L Intellectual Property Law. it is expressly forbidden to reproduce, distribute and publicly communicate, including making available, all or part of the contents of this website, for commercial purposes, on any medium and by any technical means, without the authorisation of Escuela de Empresarios, Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana. The USER undertakes to respect the Intellectual and Industrial Property rights owned by EDEM. The elements of the website can be seen and even printed, they may be copied and stored on the hard disk of your computer or in any other hardware on condition that said copy is expressly and exclusively for personal and private use. The USER must abstain from deleting, altering, omitting, or manipulating any protection mechanism or security system that has been installed on the pages of EDEM’s website.

6. DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEE AND LIABILITY

EDEM cannot be held responsible, under any circumstances, for damage of any kind resulting from possible errors or omissions in content, or the unavailability of the website, or the transmission of viruses or malware in content, in spite of having adopted all the necessary technological measures to avoid it.

7. MODIFICATIONS

EDEM reserves the right to carry out, without prior notice, changes that it considers appropriate to its website, these being the ability to modify, delete or add to both content and services provided through it, and in the form which these are presented or located in its website.

8. LINKS

In the event that a domain name has links or hyperlinks to other Internet sites, EDEM will not exercise any control over such sites and content. In no case will EDEM assume any responsibility for the contents of any link belonging to an external website, nor will it guarantee the technical availability, quality, reliability, accuracy, scope, fidelity, validity and conformity of any material or information contained in any of said hyperlinks or other Internet sites. 

Equally, the inclusion of external connections will not imply any type of association, union, or participation with connected entities.

9. EDEM’s RIGHT OF EXCLUSION

EDEM reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to its website and/or the services offered on it without prior notice, either by its own initiative or that of a third party, to those users who do not comply with these General Conditions of Use.

10. GENERAL

EDEM will prosecute those responsible for any breach of these conditions, as well as any improper use of its website by taking all civil and criminal actions that it may be entitled to under present law.

11. MODIFICATION AND DURATION OF PRESENT CONDITIONS

EDEM may modify, at any time, the conditions herein set down, being duly published as they appear here.

The validity of the aforementioned conditions will be according to their presentation and will be in force until such time as they are modified by other published conditions.

12. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION

Relations between EDEM and the USER are governed by the current Spanish legislation in force and any disputes will be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Valencia.
