Get to know EDEM

The school with the depth of the deep blue sea.

We are a business school with more than 15 years’ experience of training managers and entrepreneurs. As a Foundation, we work with more than 100 companies that share their knowhow and support us in the development of our courses.

We train the entrepreneurs of today and tomorrow with the same objective: to encourage entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethics and leadership in society.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Growing from a small sailboat into an ocean liner is not the work of a single day. That’s why at EDEM we always keep an eye on what’s ahead. We advance without haste but at a steady pace. That said, there’s no harm in looking back from time to time to understand just how we got here.

Creation

EDEM is established as a Foundation with the aim of satisfying a need: that the entrepreneurs of the Valencian Community have a place to form, a "School of Entrepreneurs" promoted by the companies themselves.

2005

New Executive Team

Composed of Hortensia Roig (General Secretary), Antonio Noblejas (Managing Director) and Manuel Palma (President). EDEM was located on Colón street in Valencia.

First programs

We launch the first programs with the new executive team: the 15x15 Course, a senior management reference program that brings together 15 renowned entrepreneurs for 15 days, and the Junior MBA, a pioneering postgraduate on the Valencian educational scene.

2012

Official opening of the University Centre

After becoming a center attached to the University of Valencia, we opened the University Centre, which was located on Poeta Quintana Street and with that, we launched the Business Management & Administration Degree.

2015

EDEM at Marina de Empresas

We form part of Marina de Empresas together with Lanzadera and Angels, a unique entrepreneurial ecosystem located at the Marina of Valencia. We became an attached center of the Universitat Politècnica de València and launched the BSc in Engineering and Business Management, the first of its kind in Spain.

2017

Change of Presidency

Hortensia Roig becomes President of EDEM. The Governing Council names Juan Roig Honorary President "in recognition of his contribution to the project and the patronage work carried out."
